Members of the main group committed to the regeneration of Westward Ho! have called for a united front in redeveloping the village. One of them, Clive Hunt, a member of the Westward Ho! Residents' Association, fears that the criticisms of "a very small minority of well-meaning but ill-informed" people could jeopardise future funding bids for the resort.
