Earth And Heaven opened
for business in February 2005.
We are a family business, run by Malc (The Old Fossil, who,some believe, actually
lived alongside some of the exhibits!), Sandy(The pretty one with a special
sensitivity to crystal energy) and Chris (Our technical and computer support)
When the family moved to the area in 2004, we had no "expert" knowledge,
but a passionate interest in Fossils and crystal energies. We also found a
distinct shortage of retailers for these items in North Devon (our apologies
here to any good shops we failed to find!). Also, the outlets we did discover,
seemed (to us) to be rather expensive. So,we thought, " lets do it ouselves!".
We started life in a very small shop located in the historic "Butchers
Row", in the Pannier Market in Bideford, North Devon.
In November 2005 we moved to a larger shop, actually next-door to our original
premises, and consequently have increased our range of Fossils and Crystals,
still aiming to offer the best range of Natural Crystals and Fossils at the
best possible price.
As well as ornamental and decorative pieces, we also stock a good range of
crystals for healing. There is something for everyone, from tumblestones at
50p, to large Amethyst "cathedrals" costing up to £400.
We also offer a limited range of crystal jewellery, as well as dowsing pendulums
and wands.
Our Fossil range starts with the ever popular sharks teeth, small ammonites
and other "pocket money" items at 50p, to larger or rarer pieces
costing up to £700.
Whilst we are great believers in keeping only "natural and genuine"
fossils, we do have a small number of replica items (all Dinosaur related).
This is due to the great interest in anything Dinosaur and the fact that these
items (teeth, claws, skulls and skeletons) are generally extremely rare and
therefore very expensive.
With all our items, there is something for everyone - beginner to serious
collector, the young and the not-so-young.
Our aim is to keep these beautiful natural treasures accessible to all, and
consequently are always looking to buy the best quality at the keenest prices.
For example, we believe our Amethyst "cathedrals" are the cheapest
around, up to 50% less than you would pay elsewhere.
